Data model representation for KDDart system. Core model and two modules are represented separately, but they all constitute uniform structure underpinning KDDart system.
Core module stores all the data needed in the system configuration, vocabularies (including traits, treatments, etc) as well as all Germplasm, Experiment and Inventory data.
Marker module is designed to store DNA data including sequences and markers with genetic and physical maps. Model is generic enough to store all kinds of markers.
Environmental module collects all information, which is geolocated and is designed to store any kind of spatial and spatio-temporal data, which can be auto-logged to the system.
